Galaxy NoteMember
You do not have much control on the background color for the stock email client.
If power saving is enabled, you mnay go to settings–power saving mode, uncheck background color. This will not solve the issue, but may make it slightly better.
Galaxy NoteMemberWhat is the video format?

Yes, you can disable the notification for individual apps in JB. In Application manager, tap the app, you can uncheck “show notifications” (behind force stop). Then confirm.
Alternatively, when you get the notification, long press the notification, the “app info” should pop out, and you can then un-check the show notifications.

2. limit background process to 3 (Settings–Developer options)Galaxy NoteMemberNot sure. I did not find this function either.
Galaxy NoteMemberI did not get your question. What do you want to achieve?
Galaxy NoteMemberAs I know, you cannot.
Probably in the new S Note (coming with Note 3, but will be available in Note 2, Note 10.1 and Note 8.0 as well), you have more options.
Galaxy NoteMemberYou need enter text input mode first. You can then move the cursor to the desired location of an existing line or create a new line. Now you switch back to handwriting to text mode to write. All recognized text will be put on this line. This works with existing text lines or new text lines.
For a text box, it is also possible to edit, and continue to use handwriting to text in the same text box later. To do this, you need: 1). enter handwriting to text mode; 2). long press the text box to be edited until edit options pop out. 3). move cursor to the desired location; 4) write. The text will be appended in the text box, not in a new text box.
If you are in a text box, your writing should append to it unless you exit handwriting to text mode, or you create a new text box.
Galaxy NoteMemberDid you get the correct language (once the handwriting recognition is enabled, in the right of toolbox for handwriting recognition)?
Usually once you write, the recognized text will be put in a text box. Although there is a lag, but it is marginal.
Anyway, you probably can go to local Samsung service centre for a hardware check.

Galaxy NoteMemberIf you already tried a new battery, and factory reset, the last thing, as I know, you may try is a new cable and another charger (one rated as 1000mA).
You may also try to disable/enable the USB debug mode (Settings–Developer options–Debugging–USB debugging)
Anyway, I cannot recall any other possible software settings.
Galaxy NoteMemberYou can back up your data, then perform a factory reset.
Galaxy NoteMemberdid you try again a new battery? It is unlikely caused by apps downloaded from the play store.
Galaxy NoteMemberIf Dropbox is currently the default option, go to settings–Application manager–all–Dropbox, click “clear defaults”. So, next time, when you import photos, PaperArtist will ask you to choose the source. From here, you can set new defaults (choose always), or choose not to set (just once).
If Gallery is currently the default option, you cna do the same to Gallery app.
