Tagged: productivity text box
Hi,
I got myself a Galaxy note 8.0 a few days back. I mainly got it for the S pen and the productivity tool. But it is making me very frustrated. As I have browsed through this blog I’ve found out that my note is not behaving as it should.
In tutorial “S Note tutorial: how to change text styles (appearance)”, I see that when activating the productivity and taking a note with the S pen it should start writing on top of the page and continue writing behind each word with the font chosen, BUT my note creates a text box for each word on the same place as I write the word on the screen. So to the question: How do I turn of the text box function? I just want it to start on the top and continue behind it unless I tell it not to.
A quick response would be very much appreciated!
You need enter text input mode first. You can then move the cursor to the desired location of an existing line or create a new line. Now you switch back to handwriting to text mode to write. All recognized text will be put on this line. This works with existing text lines or new text lines.
For a text box, it is also possible to edit, and continue to use handwriting to text in the same text box later. To do this, you need: 1). enter handwriting to text mode; 2). long press the text box to be edited until edit options pop out. 3). move cursor to the desired location; 4) write. The text will be appended in the text box, not in a new text box.
If you are in a text box, your writing should append to it unless you exit handwriting to text mode, or you create a new text box.
