My Galaxy note wont play video files it plays some of them but very few. I have loads of films backed up over the years and it just wont play them. I have tried the mx player and vlc to no avail. I have tried converting a couple but again still no luck. Is there something I may have overlooked any help is much appreciated
thanks Matt

August 26, 2013 at 12:46 pm #1005AnonymousInactiveI have now fond a download called miro video converter. This converts the files tp h264 800×480 however it was working fine for the first 10 or 15 films then it says m4v and when I try to open the files it does not work. some file work after conversion some not very frustrating. I bought the tab to take with me when I work offshore for films and internet solely because it has the micro sd for my films not happy that it wont play hardly anything I try to play.

If you can successfully convert (only when the m4v vides are NOT DRMed) them to MP4, you should be able to play the mp4 files.

Anyway, after insert the SD card, you can try to reboot the tablet. Everything should be ok.
