Why should a (phone, I presume) carrier be able to affect basic OS functionality of a tablet at all? Can carriers affect applications that are not carrier specific apps?
JR says
We do not get cellular phone support where I live. I purchased a 2014 Note in order to have a fully functional tablet. What is it about multi-windows that requires “provider” or “regional” support? What other features require this kind of ‘support’?
Simon says
It just means this feature may be not available in some regions. Some carrier may remove it. But actually, this is available in all regions as I know.
