I wanted to update to 4.0.4 (currently using 4.0.3 which I read has battery issues, and I really notice bad battery drain) but the Software Update says “choose your country” and does not list Hong Kong! So what do I do? Does it matter what country you choose?
It is a bit strange it should ask such info as the update is based on the CSC code. You call local Samsung guys for clarification.
The update should not ask your country. If it does and you have problem to talk to local samsung guys, you can put the country where your bought your phone. It should not be critical.
