After using an unlocked Dell Streak 5 on T-Mobile for over a year (seemed like an eternity at 2G speeds), I finally bought the Galaxy Note (didn’t wait on “Note 2”). I REALLY like this device!
I just didn’t see the logic waiting on what might be, or even if T-Mobile would get the Note 2. Besides, pretty much everything I’ve read about the Note 2 (from reputable sites), points to a slightly larger but narrower screen (16:9 vs 16:10 on original Note). I really like the wider screen (in portrait view)….
Oh, plus I got my Note for $149 through the Customer Loyalty Dept…. So far, I’m lovin it!!
If you want to get Note 2 in T-Mobile, you probably have to wait al least till the end of this year. The Galaxy Note was just brought into T Mobile a few weeks ago only. $149 should be a good deal, although everybody knows the price will drop.
Dell Streak 5 is actually a decent phone, although the design and build quality need improvement desperately. The problem is that Dell over-priced it in most markets, and they are too slow in software update and bug fixes.
