    My friend has a htc evo 3d and i have galaxy note 2 which I have bought recently. I tried to stream movie directly from his phone by going connecting to his hot spot. Than I went to settings—more settings—media share—nearby devices and started file sharing.

    Than I went to my gallery and tried to scan his device there so I can stream a movie which is on his device, but it gave an error that cant find any device.

    I have a nokia n900 to but it was able to stream the file from my friends cell without any problem.

     

    Plssssss help

    Not sure. Did you try AllShare from your Note?

    Often, Android to Android streaming works best among devices from the same manufacturer.

    Samsung s2 and s3 works. Today I tried the same with my frnds samsung note 2… didnt work with it also.

    Probably, it also related to the OS version. Did you try to streaming from Note 2 to S3 (not S3 to Note 2)?
