I’ve tried to download many attachments from emails that have been sent to me with no luck. I go to the Attachment tab and click download. It seems to start the process, but then I see it’s like 10 minutes later and the screen looks like it is still trying to download the document/picture. They are not located in the “Downloads” folder, where it would make sense that they be there and they are also not in the “My Files” folder.
Any suggestions?
Someone reported this issue before. I tried, and I didn’t has the issue. So, it is probably related to the mail server or the carrier.
Anyway, you may test with Gmail to find out whether you have the same issue.
I had the same problems and use attachments every day. I deleted all of my email accounts from my phone and then reinstalled them. My attachments will now download (the green bar turns solid as it goes across the screen) and no other issues from ICS update. Runs pretty sweet!!!!! Hope this helps.
Great, thanks guys. It looks like I’ll have to reset my phone so I’ll remove the accounts and set them back up again tonight.
