  • Why should a (phone, I presume) carrier be able to affect basic OS functionality of a tablet at all? Can carriers affect applications that are not carrier specific apps?

  • We do not get cellular phone support where I live. I purchased a 2014 Note in order to have a fully functional tablet. What is it about multi-windows that requires "provider" or "regional" support? What other features require this kind of 'support'?

    • It just means this feature may be not available in some regions. Some carrier may remove it. But actually, this is available in all regions as I know.
