I am from india. When i bought samsung galaxy note in january 2013 with android 4.0.4 the kernel version was 3.0.15-1163394 and the build number was IMM76D.DDLRB. Last week when i got a message that a new update is available and after some researching on net i found that its jellybean so i thought to give it to service center to update it. But when i got it today back the android version is same i.e. 4.0.4 but the kernel version and build number is changed to the much previous i.e. 3.0.15-1094171 & IMM76D.DDLR9. Now when i m checking for any update it’s showing that no update is available. I want to have jellybean update. Now i dont know what to do??? Help me!!!!
Did you try Kies from your PC?
If you visit the the service centre again, you may tell them you need Jelly Bean, which is available in India . You can also check it on the spot and ask them to correct it.
