Went to use my S Pen tonight and the phone does not see it, tried restart and removing the battery but still not working after both? any clue?
What do you mean “not see it”?. At least, you should be able to use it as finger.
Some apps can recognize it, some not. You can try to start memo or S Note to find out whether the S Pen can be recognized.
Sometimes, for some operations, you need press the button in the S Pen.
I don’t get any response when trying to use pen ? but my finger works on screen so not sure what the issue is.
You may try (I assume your Note has been updated to ICS):
1). go to settings–Pen settings–Dominant hand, change it to left handed, then change back to right handed, and see whether the screen responds to the S Pen.
2)if not, change the screen rotation several times, to see whether the screen responds to the S Pen
3)if not, go to settings–Display, try horizontal calibration ,and Gyroscope calibration
4). if still not working, go to local Samsung service center, or vendor”s shop for a check or replacement.
