Hi! After the jelly bean update for galaxy note 1 my s pen has stopped working for some reason. I updated the phone through kies from android 4.0.3 to 4.1.2.
When I first noticed it i performed a factory reset and tried using the s pen to enter the email id etc. It worked fine then but as soon as i put the s pen back in and removed it to use it, it had stopped working again.
I repeated these steps one more time however the results weren’t any different. So now i am stuck with the s pen not working and i really want to make it work again.
Kindly suggest any way to solve this issue. i havent heard of anyone else facing the same issue.

Did you try the S Pen on other Note?
If you use a cover/case with magnetic lock, you may try to remove the case for a while then try again.
Sometimes, you can try to turn off screen rotation, toggle dominant hand (settings–S Pen).
Anyway, you can go to any Samsung shops to test whether it is the problem of the S Pen or the screen.
