Hello All,
Hoping to get some input from current note owners.
ATT is providing me with 2 new Note phones at no cost due to some issues.
I know a new note is coming soon but I am doubtful they would allow me to wait and if it would be at no cost.
From what I can read about the new note the improvements are nice but not critical for me as I am using the phone for email and calendar with web browsing while I am in the field as I am an outside account rep.
Am I missing something by not waiting and paying for the note 2?
With ICS now on the note and it will ship with it. I am thinking the note will work fine for me.

The Galaxy Note will be announced this month, but the shipment will be probably in October or November. Some regions and some carriers will start to sell it even later.
The good thing for users who want to grab one now is that the price should start to drop considerably probably before the announcement.
I remember the launching price for Galaxy Note on ATT is $299 with two-year contract.
Probably it is good time to grab one if you can get it free now, if you are happy with it. Actually , Jelly Bean (4.1) update for Galaxy Note is on the way (Q4/12-Q1-13) .
