Hi guys,
I bought Galaxy Note 2 in the UK and now i’m using it in Kazakhstan. There is a problem with messaging in my device. When i send messages in Russian language the following comes up “Message may be corrupted on recipient device. Change input mode to automatic” When i check the settings the input mode is already automatic… so after check it i send the message and the recipient gets only QUESTION MARKS (???)… is there anything i can do?
Are you able to change the default/system language from UK English to your own language?
I did change an input language making it both english and russian… nevertheless it is not working. Any suggestions?
I mean the system language, not input. Under settings–Language and input, can you set Language (the first one) as Russian?
Yes, I can and I did.
Then, it is strange, because if you can change Russian as system language, it means the firmware and all bundled apps should support this language. Did you try Unicode for input method?
I looked through the setting and I could not find Unicode for input method. Apparently I hove non. Any suggestions?
It is under the settings of the messaging app(not the system system settings). Open messaging app, tap menu button, go to settings–input mode. You can try to change the automatic to unicode, or any other options.
