Home › Forums › Galaxy Note discussion forum › JB install, now Exchange won't work, neither will the software update rego.
Hi guys (and girls).
I’m not sure if this has been answered yet (couldn’t find it on here) but I installed the JB update for my Note 10.1 and now for some reason, I can’t get Exchange to work on the standard email program.
When the auto detect tries to set up my email, it prompts me to do it manually, however I get that dreaded message “Activation failed. Unable to connect to network. Try again with network provider’s APN.
I know my settings are correct, as Exchange worked perfect before that update.
I’m also noticing it won’t allow me to register for the software update.
Please help!
This is the 16gb wifi only version too if that helps.
Thanks
Mark
Many users reported the similar problems on Jelly Bean.
You may check settings–security–device administrators, if you cannot fins your email, you may visit Samsung service center, as I know they can fix this Exchange issue with their own tools.
I’ve just installed JB via Odin, I’ve already set up my corporate mailbox which is linked to an Enchange server and I haven’t had any big deal yet. The mailbox is being updated and no issue is to be reported.
Sorry, I can’t be of help for you. 🙁
