I am in the process of acquiring a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I have never owned a Samsung smartphone. I have an iPod classic that holds all my music. When I backed up the music in my iPod to my PC the songs were all renamed by iTunes into random letters. I backed up the music by going into the iPod’s hidden folders and copying it into my PC. I have recently reset my computer to factory settings, therefore I did not install iTunes again.
Questions:
1) Does Samsung have its own media organizer? (Like iTunes)
2) What programs can I use to convert the random letters naming my songs to the songs real names and info?
3) What media organizer works like iTunes and is compatible with Samsung? (I have heard about media monkey)
Any extra info on Samsung Galaxy Note smartphones will be great.
1. Not exactly, but similar, MusicHub (http://www.musichub.com/) by samsung.
2. For mp3, Mp3tag can do this (rename based on tags): http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
3. Is this one helpful? http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/29716/heres-five-alternatives-to-itunes-10-for-easily-managing-your-ipod/
Thanks for the help. I might try Copy Trans Manager to see how I like it. Until now I have not found a music management program that really captivates me.
