Hi all,
I’m from India.
Have purchased Galaxy Note on January 2012. There were no problems until last week.
The phone screen blurs/flashes for about 5 seconds & then finally the phone is getting switched off.
After switching on the phone, the battery drains to less than 5% (mostly 1%). Previously before the phone gets switched off, the battery charge was around 50%.
Recently it happened today & to my surprise the date and time settings also got reset.
Does anyone got the same problem, what did you do to correct it ?
Someone, please help me on this context.
Thanks,
Premnath.
Try a new battery.
I have been through same scenario.
Change the batter & you are sorted…
And since ur mobile is under warranty, u will get a replacement from Samsung at free of cost..
Thanks for ur valuable suggestions guys…
Is this a battery issue ?
Do u think replacing the battery alone is enough for this or any other hardware is also affected.
I’m too scared of losing my phone !
Ideally, replacing batter should solve this problem.
Thanks Anand for ur timely advise.
I replaced a new battery for my Note & its working fine now without any issues.
Good to know that Premnath..
How much is your battery backup now?
Now, without using my mobile net connection the battery lasts for more than one and a half days.
By keeping the net on continuously, it lasts for some 8 to 9 hours.
Is it okay, a normal consumption rite ?
Also, do u have any news abt the Jelly Bean update for our Note in India ?
Back up sounds good now.
No idea about jelly bean.
Thanks Anandh.
One small doubt, will the battery charging take more than 4 hours filling to 100% (started with 15%) ?
I guess its very slow compared to my previous one, whats your idea ?
Yes.
It takes time for getting fully charged..
Thanks a lot for responding back.
