My wife’s phone suggested an update today. Based on the presumption that an update from Samsung is worth doing we agreed and the download began. However after download, installation started and then stopped with an error message. We now have a constant loop of “Unfortunately, Samsung Setupwizard has stopped – Ok”. Every time we press ok it just keeps repeating. Apart from the message the screen is blank. Before it was looping between the message above and “Unfortunately android.process.media has stopped working-ok”. I have tried turning off and back on again, turning off and taking out the battery, taking out the microSD card, connecting to Kies – but nothing works. When I connected to Kies I got the message “Unfortunately the Samsun UI has stopped working”.
My wife is dead scared that she is going to loose all data. She had a year of MiniDiary on the phone which was not backed up.
Can anyone help with a suggestion? We just cannot get into the phone, and no files are evident when we connect to a PC – I am stuck!!!

Normally, you should back up everything before update.
For the problem, it is better to visit local Samsung service centre to fix.
