    Hi I am Pradeep from India

    I am using International Version N7000 . I feel my camera clarity is not as good as my friends note n7000, we both are using default camera apps in ICS but my phones camera is missing the sharpness as like my friend. my friend has not made any changes in camera settings so I tried resetting to default camera settings in both mobile but no use again same.Can some one help me to improve my galaxy note camera clarity.

    Did you compare the photos on a computer?

    Sometimes, it may be caused by the brightness of the screen, and it give you the false impression. Try to increase the brightness of your screen to see whether the photo “look” better.

    Have you tried touching the screen, on the point of where you want your focus to be, before taking the picture?

    hello, i just got myself a brand spanking new galaxy note version n7000 with ics 4.04 installed but im having bad troubles with the camera. every once in a while i get a “camera failure” error which provokes a crash of the device. also to fix this i have to restarted but sometimes it doesnt help.does anyone knows how to adress this?

    @pradeep, did you tried compared setting on camera with your friend note, like iso,autocontrast, etc ?

    hi, I hope someone can help!

     

    My camera is not registering any touch function, it’s just a blank screen, I can’t use any of the buttons, nor use either camera, it’s driving me mad! I use the camera all the time! I read somewhere about there being a lock function on some of the other samsung models, does anyone know how to fix it?

    Did you try to clear data for camera app (settings–applications–all-camera-clear data)?

    Or, you can reset your phone (settings–back up and reset–factory data reset). You need back up your own data before resetting.

    If it is a hardware issue, you have to go to local Samsung service center to get a replacement/repair.

    I have just tried to clear the data, nothing happened, i did a reset, but I didn’t include the photos option, would that make a difference in relation to the camera?

    Not sure. But if you still cannot use the camera, it is better to ask the Samsung guys to check and fix.
