For me, it is still there. I have green phone icon and yellow message icon. Tap it will call back or bring you to the message/discussion.
If you are using third party dialer, you may switch to the in-stock one.
If you still cannot find it with the in-stock dialer/call logs, you may try to do a factory reset for your Note. Please back up your data using Kies.
